Low Melt Copolyetherester, Process For Preparing, And Implementation Thereof

Abstract: The present invention discloses a low melt copolyetherester comprising terephthalic acid, aliphatic diols, and combination of antioxidants, wherein the molar proportion of terephthalic acid is at least 80 to 100 mol % based on the overall acid quantity, the diol content at least 0 to 100 mol % of monoethylene glycol, optionally 0 to 100 mol% diethylene glycol and optionally an additional glycol selected from the group consisting of polyethylene glycol 400 to polyethylene glycol 1500 and mixture thereof to make up 100 mol % of the diol quantity and 10 to 50 weight % polybutylene terephthalate, wherein the antioxidant has a concentration in the range of 4000 to 8000 ppm, and wherein the low melt copolyetherester have a melting point in the range between 80° to 240°C and cooling crystallization temperature in the range between 60 to 170⁰C.
