Abstract: Examples of a fail-safe architecture for power distribution in a vehicle 5 comprising– a primary control circuit and a secondary control circuit, are described. In one example, the primary control circuit may monitor a plurality of input signals. The plurality of input signals may be indicative of an operational state of one or more components of the vehicle. In response to the monitoring, the primary control circuit may generate one or more output 10 signals to control the one or more components of the vehicle. In one example, the secondary control circuit, may also monitor the plurality of inputs signals and generate the one or more output signals. Based on at least the plurality of input signals and the one or more output signals, the secondary control circuit may detect a fault in an operation of the primary 15 control circuit, and control the one or more components based on the one or more output signals. <>
