Abstract: The disclosed invention relates to a secondary battery, which, in one example, comprises a venting device that opens when the pressure inside a case exceeds a first setpoint, wherein the venting device: comprises a rupture disk having a rupturing part formed therein, which ruptures at the first setpoint; and has a heat absorbing porous member equipped in at least one of the upstream and downstream side of the rupture disk.
