Abstract: The present invention relates to a battery module assembly having a fire extinguishing function and to a battery pack comprising same and, more particularly, to a battery module assembly and to a battery pack comprising same, the battery module assembly comprising: a battery module that includes a plurality of battery cells; a fire sensor that is provided on the outside of the battery module; a cover member that accommodates the battery module and the fire sensor; and a pump that is connected to the cover member to discharge air inside the cover member to the outside when a fire signal is received from the fire sensor.
