Abstract: The present invention discloses a lithium secondary battery and a method for producing the lithium secondary battery. The lithium secondary battery comprises a negative electrode-separator composite including a negative electrode and separators, wherein the negative electrode includes a lithium metal layer, and the separators include a first separator disposed on one surface of the negative electrode and a second separator disposed on the other surface of the negative electrode. At least a portion of the respective edges of the first separator and the second separator are adhered to each other to form a sealing part in a state in which the negative electrode is accommodated therein, and the air permeability of the sealing part may be at least 50,000 sec/100 cc.
