Abstract: This electric work vehicle comprises: a battery (4) mounted on a machine body; an inverter (14) that converts direct-current power based on the output of the battery (4) into alternating-current power; a motor (M) driven by the alternating-current power converted by the inverter (14); a rotation speed information acquisition unit (41) that acquires rotation speed information indicating the rotation speed of the motor (M); a traveling device (42) driven by the motor (M); an operation tool (43) that changes the requested rotation speed requested for the motor (M); a storage unit (45) that stores an output map defining the relationship between a torque value which can be output by the motor (M) and the rotation speed of the motor (M); and a control unit (44) that drives the inverter (14) on the basis of the rotation speed information, the requested rotation speed, and the output map, and controls current flowing to the motor (M), wherein, in a high rotation region where the rotation speed of the motor (M) is a prescribed rotation speed or higher, the output map is set to be similar to a shape in the high rotation region of a torque curve of the engine.
