Abstract: In the present invention, an inverter comprises a housing case 5 in which a substrate 60 provided with an inverter circuit is embedded. The housing case 5 comprises: a rectangular box-shaped case body 5A provided with an opening above a space that is surrounded by a bottom plate 50 and peripheral walls 55; and a case lid 5B that can open and close the opening. Substrate locking parts 51, 52 for securing the substrate 60 are provided on the top surface of the bottom plate 50. Reinforcement ribs 56 are formed on the outer surface of the peripheral walls 55 of the case body 5A, and on the inner surface of the case lid 5B.
