Welded Joint

Abstract: [Problem] To further improve corrosion resistance in the vicinity of the toe of a weld. [Solution] A welded joint of the present invention has a first steel plate and a second steel plate, and a weld bead portion formed by arc welding or laser welding, wherein at least one among the first steel plate and the second steel plate has, in a non-heat-affected zone, a plating layer made of a predetermined composition and an oxide layer located on the plating layer. In a region from a position at a distance of 1 mm from the toe of a weld in the direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the weld bead portion and away from the toe of the weld, to a position at a distance of 2 mm from the toe of the weld in the direction perpendicular to the extending direction and away from the toe of the weld, the plating layer has at least one of an ?-Zn phase, an MgZn2 phase, an Mg2Zn3 phase, or an MgZn phase as metal Zn-containing phases having an equivalent circle diameter of at least 0.5 µm, and the total length Lt of the respective metal Zn-containing phases in the direction perpendicular to the extending direction when projected onto the interface between the base steel and the plating layer is at least 10% with respect to the interface length Le.
