Abstract: The present specification provides a secondary battery comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator, and an electrolyte, wherein the negative electrode includes a negative electrode active material, the negative electrode active material includes a Si-based active material and a carbon-based active material, the positive electrode includes a Ni-based active material, and the Ni-based active material has a cobalt oxide layer on a portion of the surface of particles.
