Porous Composite Ceramic Separator, Electrochemical Device Comprising The Same, And Method Of Preparing The Porous Composite Ceramic Separator

Abstract: The present invention provides a porous composite ceramic separator comprising: a porous ceramic separator substrate including a plurality of inorganic particles and a binder polymer for interconnecting and fixing the inorganic particles; and a coating layer coated on at least one surface of the porous ceramic separator substrate and formed by mixing binder polymer particles and short fibers. By using the porous ceramic separator substrate, the porous composite ceramic separator of the present invention exhibits excellent thermal stability, a reduced decrease in tensile strength, good resistance characteristics, and the characteristic of being assembled into an electrochemical device.
