Battery Module With Improved Flame Retardant Connector

Abstract: A battery module according to the present invention comprises: a cell assembly provided with battery cells; a module case which accommodates the cell assembly and is provided with a connector mounting tool formed at one side thereof; and a connector assembly which is connected to a circuit board provided in the module case and which is at least partially exposed to outside of the module case through the connector mounting tool, wherein the connector assembly comprises: a connector housing which is provided with connector pins formed therein and is at least partially exposed to outside of the connector mounting tool; and a flame-retardant block which is formed of a metal material and surrounds the circumference of the connector housing in the module case. The flame-retardant block has a coating layer of a non-combustible material formed on the surface facing the inside of the module case.
