Electrode Assembly And Secondary Battery Comprising Same

Abstract: Disclosed are: an electrode assembly in which part or all of a laminated structure forms a pyramid shape, so that short circuits that occur at the sides during battery operation are alleviated; and a secondary battery comprising same. The electrode assembly includes, alternately laminated: a negative electrode layer having a negative electrode active material layer provided on both sides of a negative electrode current collector; and a positive electrode layer having a first positive electrode active material layer and a second positive electrode active material layer provided on both sides of a positive electrode current collector, wherein solid electrolyte layers are interposed between the negative electrode layer and the positive electrode layer, respectively, wherein the lengths of the first positive electrode active material layer and the second positive electrode active material layer, extending in the direction of both ends of the positive electrode current collector with respect to the center line of the positive electrode current collector, are different from each other in the positive electrode layer, and the length of the negative electrode active material layer facing the relatively short first positive electrode active material layer, of these, is the same as or shorter than the length of the relatively long second positive electrode active material layer.
