Automated Travel Control System

Abstract: An automated travel control system for a work vehicle which executes automated travel along a target travel route, wherein the target travel route generated by a travel route calculation unit includes a plurality of route elements and the target direction TD at each of the route elements, which is a direction along the target travel route, and a travel control unit executes an automated travel control in a manner such that: a synthesized target direction TDM is generated by synthesizing the target direction while traveling, which is the target direction TD at a route element which corresponds to the position P of the body of the work vehicle, and the pre-travel target direction, which is the target direction TD which corresponds to each of the pre-travel route elements LA, which are the one or more route elements through which the vehicle is subsequently scheduled to pass; and the travel direction of the work vehicle at the route elements is the synthesized target travel direction TDM.
