Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrode assembly and a battery cell including same. In the electrode assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention, a plurality of unit cells, each comprising a negative electrode, a positive electrode, and a separator, are stacked, and separators are disposed between the plurality of unit cells, the electrode assembly comprising: a first unit cell in which one end of the negative electrode protrudes further than one end of the positive electrode; and a second unit cell in which one end of the positive electrode protrudes further than one end of the negative electrode.
