Abstract: Provided is an electrode assembly (1) in which a first electrode (2), a first separation film (3), a second electrode (4), and a second separation film (3) are wound in the longitudinal direction thereof in a stacked state so as to be wound into a cylindrical shape while surrounding a winding center, wherein both surfaces of the first electrode (2) are coated with an active material so as to form a first electrode coating part, one end portion of the first electrode (2) in the axial direction (width direction) forms a first electrode non-coated part (21) without being coated with the active material, both surfaces of the second electrode (4) are coated with the active material so as to form a second electrode coating part (42), the other end portion of the second electrode (4) in the axial direction (width direction) forms a second electrode non-coated part (41) without being coated with the active material, a predetermined section facing the end portion of the second electrode non-coated part (41) from a boundary part of the second electrode coating part (42) and the second electrode non-coated part (41) is coated with an insulating material so as to form an insulating coating layer (45).
