Abstract: This steel sheet for hot stamping has a base steel plate having a predetermined chemical composition and a zinc-based plating layer formed on the surface of the base steel plate, wherein the microstructure at the 1/4 depth position in the range of 1/8 to 3/8 of the plate thickness in the plate thickness direction from the surface of the base steel plate contains 20-95% of ferrite and 5-80% of pearlite in terms of volume fraction, with the remainder comprising bainite, and the zinc-based plating layer has a basis weight of at least 35 g/m2 and a chemical composition containing at least 0.0005 mass% of B.
