Abstract: The present invention relates to a secondary battery, comprising: an electrode assembly; a gel polymer electrolyte; and a battery case that accommodates the electrode assembly and the gel polymer electrolyte, wherein: the electrode assembly includes a plurality of electrodes and a plurality of separators; the plurality of electrodes are stacked in the vertical direction, and the separators are interposed between the stacked electrodes; the separators each include a porous substrate and a ceramic coating layer disposed on both sides of the porous substrate; and the ceramic coating layer includes at least 92% but less than 100% by weight of inorganic particles and more than 0% but not more than 8% by weight of a binder.
