Route Planning System For Automatically Operated Farm Machine

Abstract: This route planning system for an automatically operated farm machine comprises: a storage device that stores a map including a plurality of fields, a plurality of stand-by sites, and roads connecting the plurality of fields with the plurality of stand-by sites; and a processing device that generates a route on the map for each working day of the farm machine. The processing device determines, on the basis of information indicating at least one of the growth situation of crops in the plurality of fields, the progress situation of farm work in the plurality of fields, the planting situation in the plurality of fields, and the weather condition, a specific stand-by site to which the farm machine is to be moved after completing the last farm work of each working day, from among the plurality of stand-by sites, and generates a route from the field where the last farm work takes place to the specific stand-by site.
