Current Collecting Plate And Cylindrical Secondary Battery Including Same

Abstract: The cylindrical secondary battery according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: an electrode assembly equipped with electrode tabs; a battery can accommodating the electrode assembly; a terminal passing through the battery can and insulated from the battery can; and current collecting plates electrically connecting the electrode tabs and the terminal. A current collecting plate may comprise: an edge part; a terminal coupling part positioned to the inside of the edge part and coupled to the terminal; bridges connecting the edge part and the terminal coupling part; and tab coupling parts extending inward from the edge part, spaced apart from the bridges and the terminal coupling part, and coupled to electrode tabs. The inner ends of the tab coupling parts may decrease in width as the tab coupling parts get closer to the terminal coupling part.
