Battery Module And Battery Pack Including Same

Abstract: A battery module of the present invention comprises: a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells including electrode leads are stacked; a busbar frame assembly coupled to the electrode leads; and side frames arranged on opposite side surfaces of the battery cell stack, respectively, and coupled to the bus bar frame assembly, wherein one of the busbar frame assembly and the side frame includes a coupling protrusion portion and the other includes an insertion coupling portion so that the busbar frame assembly and the side frame are coupled to each other by inserting the coupling protrusion portion into the insertion coupling portion, and both the upper and lower surfaces of the battery cell stack are open except for the surfaces where the side frame and busbar frame assembly are coupled. In addition, the present invention provides a battery pack including the battery module.
