Battery Pack And Vehicle Comprising Same

Abstract: Provided are a battery pack configured to be able to ensure structural stability even when a thermal event occurs, and a vehicle comprising same. A battery pack according to an aspect of the present invention comprises: a battery cell; a pack housing which accommodates the battery cell in a cell accommodation portion, and is provided with a venting passage including a first passage and a second passage having two layers in the side surface and the lower portion thereof, the first passage and the second passage being respectively in communication with the cell accommodation portion; and a cooling module which is provided on the lower portion of the pack housing and is configured to cool down a venting gas or flames discharged from the battery cell and then flowing into the second passage.
