Organic/Inorganic Composite Porous Coating Layer Containing Separator For Electrochemical Device, And Electrochemical Device Comprising Same

Abstract: A separator for an electrochemical device, according to the present invention, comprises a porous polymeric substrate and an organic/inorganic composite porous coating layer formed on at least one side of the polymeric substrate, wherein: the organic/inorganic composite porous coating layer comprises particulate binder resins and inorganic particles; the particulate binder polymers comprise acrylic polymer particles and hybrid polymer particles of fluoropolymers and acrylic polymers; and the organic/inorganic composite porous coating layer has heterogeneity in the morphology of the composition in the thickness direction, in such a way that the content ratio of the hybrid polymer particles to the acrylic polymer particles is greater at the surface portion, which is opposite from the surface in contact with the polymeric substrate, than the ratio thereof in the interior of the organic/inorganic composite porous coating layer.
