Abstract: The present application relates to an anode active material, a method for manufacturing an anode active material, an anode composition, an anode for lithium secondary batteries, including same, and a lithium secondary battery including an anode. The present invention is characterized by controlling the reaction conditions of a chemical method involving the reaction of silane gas and an acid, to achieve a specific range of average particle diameter (D50) and grain size for silicon-based active materials.
