Negative Electrode, And Secondary Battery Comprising Negative Electrode

Abstract: The present invention discloses a negative electrode and a secondary battery, and the negative electrode comprises a negative electrode active material layer comprising a negative electrode active material and a conductive material, wherein the negative electrode active material comprises a silicone-based negative electrode active material, and the conductive material comprises a carbon nanotube structure having a plurality of single-walled carbon nanotube monomers coupled together side by side, the average length of the carbon nanotube structure ranging from 2 µm to 20 µm. Among the carbon nanotube structures observed to have an average length of 2 µm to 20 µm when the surface of the negative electrode active material layer is examined at a magnification of 20,000 through a scanning electron microscope (SEM), 60 carbon nanotube structures are selected, and when an A value defined by [Formula 1] is measured for each of the selected carbon nanotube structures, an average A value, calculated by arithmetically averaging 50 of the A values after excluding the top 5 values and the bottom 5 values among the measured A values, is 70 to 100.
