Abstract: The present invention relates to a battery module and a battery pack comprising same. More specifically, the battery module of the present invention, including a plurality of cells stacked therein, comprises a pair of reinforcing plates each coupled to one of two sides thereof so as to support the side surfaces of the battery module, wherein the reinforcing plate includes a plurality of reinforcing ribs protruding to extend in the longitudinal direction of the reinforcing plate.
