Thickening Alkylated Urethane Copolymer

Abstract: The invention relates to a thickening urethane copolymer which is prepared using a polyalkoxylated Guerbet alcohol comprising a double-branched alkyl group. The invention also relates to the process for preparing said copolymer and to the use thereof in aqueous compositions, in particular in coating compositions.
