Material Property Prediction Device For Rolled Product

Abstract: This material property prediction device for a rolled product comprises: an approximation model generation unit for generating, off-line, an approximation model by which to comprehensively predict material properties of group of rolled products produced by a rolling line; and a material property prediction unit for predicting, by using the approximation model, material properties in each three-dimensional mesh-like region of the rolled products produced by the rolling line. The approximation model generation unit comprises: a data set generation unit which has a condition setting part for setting rolling conditions for the group of rolled products and a material calculation part for calculating material properties and metallurgical phenomena under the rolling conditions and which generates a data set used for generating the approximation model; and a model parameter determination unit for determining parameters for representing the approximation model by using the data set.
