Surface Treated Steel Sheet

Abstract: Disclosed is a surface-treated steel sheet that has excellent weldability and corrosion-resistance. A surface-treated steel sheet of the present disclose is characterized by comprising a steel sheet having a Zn-containing plated layer, and a surface-treated layer which is provided on at least one major surface of the steel sheet, wherein: the surface-treated layer has at least a coating film as an outer layer, the coating film having an average film thickness of 1.0-10.0 µm; the coating film includes a binder resin, an oil-absorbing agent, and a conductive agent, the binder resin including an epoxy resin; the percentage of the epoxy resin in the binder resin is more than or equal to 25% by volume; the oil-absorbing agent has an oil absorption amount of more than or equal to 50 ml/100 g; the oil-absorbing agent has a particle diameter more than or equal to one-half and less than or equal to the average film thickness; and the coating film includes more than or equal to 5% by volume of the oil-absorbing agent.
