Transparent Electromagnetic Wave Control Member

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a transparent electromagnetic wave control member that transmits visible light and controls the reflection direction or transmission direction of electromagnetic waves of a specific frequency band. The transparent electromagnetic wave control member has a dielectric substrate that transmits visible light, a plurality of resonant elements that are arranged on at least one surface of the dielectric substrate, transmit visible light, and resonate with the electromagnetic waves, and a dummy pattern that is arranged on at least one surface of the dielectric substrate in an area that is not the area in which the plurality of resonant elements are arranged and transmits visible light. The size of the dummy pattern is no more than 0.1 times the wavelength of the electromagnetic waves.
