Battery System And Battery Balancing Method Thereof

Abstract: A battery system according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a battery assembly comprising a plurality of battery cells; and a battery management device which collects state information of the battery assembly, and manages and controls the battery assembly on the basis of the collected state information. The battery management device may identify a charging rate of the battery assembly in a charging mode of the battery assembly, and on the basis of the identified charging rate, determine whether to start a balancing mode for balancing of the plurality of battery cells.
