Electrode Assembly And Secondary Battery Comprising Same

Abstract: The present invention relates to a jelly-roll type electrode assembly in which a first separator, a negative electrode, a second separator, and a positive electrode are sequentially stacked and wound, wherein the positive electrode comprises a first surface oriented toward the winding axis of the jelly-roll type electrode assembly, and a second surface that is the opposite side of the first surface, and a core portion of the electrode assembly comprises: a separator overlap portion in which at least three layers of the first separator and second separator are arranged to overlap between the positive electrode and the negative electrode facing the first surface of the positive electrode; and an adhesive tape positioned between the positive electrode and the first separator facing the second surface of the positive electrode, or between the first separator and the negative electrode adjacent to the second surface of the positive electrode.
