Uninterruptible Power Supply Device

Abstract: An uninterruptible power supply device comprises: an AC/DC converter 11 that converts AC power supplied from a commercial AC power supply (15) into DC power and supplies the DC power to a DC line (DL); a DC/AC converter (13) that converts the DC power received from the DC line into AC power and supplies the AC power to a load (17); a DC/DC converter (12) that provides/receives DC power to/from the DC line and a battery (16); and a bidirectional converter (14) that, when the battery is fast charged, is operated in cooperation with the AC/DC converter (11), converts the AC power supplied from the commercial AC power supply into DC power, and supplies the DC power to the DC line. Thus, deficiency in DC power can be prevented during a fast-charging operation, and the battery can be fast charged while supplying rated power to the load.
