Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for the treatment of keratin fibres comprising the application, to the fibres, of a composition comprising at least one chemical oxidizing agent, at least one (bi)carbonate and at least one silicate, this application being preceded and/or followed by the application, to the keratin fibres, of a composition comprising one or more compounds chosen from organic acids, amino acids, chitosans, vitamins B, vitamin C, vanillin, their salts, their solvates and their mixtures.
