Electrode Assembly And Electrochemical Device Including Same

Abstract: An electrode assembly including a negative electrode structure and a plurality of positive electrodes is provided. The negative electrode structure includes first and second separators, and a lithium metal layer arranged between the first and second separators. The negative electrode structure is divided into a stack start part, a plurality of stack parts, a plurality of folding parts, and a wrapping part according to positions in the electrode assembly. The stack parts and the folding parts are alternately positioned between the stack start part and the wrapping part respectively located at the ends of the negative electrode structure, the stack start part is in contact with the folding part, and the wrapping part is in contact with the stack part. The electrode assembly has the stack start part and the plurality of stack parts sequentially positioned side by side in a thickness direction by the folding part, and at least one positive electrode is positioned between the stack start part and the stack part and between and the stack parts adjacent in the thickness direction. The electrode assembly has a structure in which outer surfaces in the thickness direction and a longitudinal direction are surrounded by the wrapping part or the wrapping part and an outermost stack part.
