Abstract: A secondary battery according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an electrode assembly which includes a cathode, an anode, and a separator; a battery case in which the electrode assembly is accommodated; and a protective member which is formed between the electrode assembly and the battery case, wherein the protective member comprises a first protective layer, a second protective layer, and a modified member formed between the first protective layer and the second protective layer.
