Battery Charging Control Apparatus And Method, And Battery System Comprising Same

Abstract: In a battery charging control apparatus and method, and a battery system comprising same, according to embodiments of the present invention, a battery is charged with the magnitude of a predefined charging current belonging to a corresponding section according to information regarding the state of charge of a battery to be charged, if a voltage of the battery reaches a predefined threshold value during charging, the battery is charged by adjusting the magnitude downward to the magnitude of a charging current in a next section, and the battery is charged by determining the magnitude of a charging current for each section on the basis of real-time voltage information, instead of the information regarding the state of charge of the battery, until the battery is fully charged, and accordingly, lithium precipitation and battery deterioration due to quick charging can be prevented, and charging time can simultaneously be shortened.
