Submerged Nozzle Replacement Apparatus

Abstract: The present invention provides a submerged nozzle replacement apparatus capable of quickly and easily moving a blank plate to a waiting position. A submerged nozzle replacement apparatus 1 of the present invention comprises: a pressing unit that presses a lower surface of a flange portion of a submerged nozzle 200; a guiding unit 4 for guiding the submerged nozzle to the pressing unit when the submerged nozzle 200 is mounted; an ejection portion 5 that guides the submerged nozzle 200 to a detaching position when the submerged nozzle is detached from the pressing unit; and a holding unit 6 that holds the blank plate 300. The holding unit 6 is movable to a first position in which the blank plate 300 is opposed to the submerged nozzle 200 supported on the pressing unit, and to a second position in which the lower surface of the flange portion of the submerged nozzle can be supported by the holding unit 6 and the guiding unit 4.
