Abstract: A battery according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: an electrode assembly; a battery housing for receiving the electrode assembly through an open portion provided on one side thereof; a terminal for electrically connecting the electrode assembly through a closed portion which is provided on the opposite side of the open portion of the battery housing; a gasket interposed between the terminal and the battery housing; and a cover member for covering the gasket in an area where the gasket faces the electrode assembly.
