Secondary Battery Module And Secondary Battery Used Therein

Abstract: A secondary battery module according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a plurality of secondary batteries arranged in parallel in one direction; and a housing for accommodating the plurality of secondary batteries. At least one of the plurality of secondary batteries can comprise: an electrode assembly; and a battery case including an accommodation portion in which the electrode assembly is accommodated and an edge portion connected from the accommodation portion, and having an outer surface coated with a nonflammable material. A nonflammable material applied to the edge portion can be thicker than a nonflammable material applied to the accommodation portion.
