Method Of Producing Article, Adhesive Composition, And Foamable Adhesive Sheet

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of producing an article that includes: a disposition step for disposing an adhesive composition containing a thermosetting resin and a blowing agent between a first member and a second member; and an adhesion step for heating to foam/cure the adhesive composition and adhering the first member and the second member. The blowing agent is thermally expandable microcapsules. A < B, when A is the slope of a tangent drawn at a peak vertex to a curve on a longer-time side of the peak in a foaming rate-time curve in which the horizontal axis is time and the vertical axis is the foaming rate of the blowing agent when a differential scanning calorimeter equipped with a camera was used to perform differential scanning calorimetry on the blowing agent in the heating condition of the adhesion step, and B is the slope of a tangent drawn at a vertex of a heat generation peak to a curve on a longer-time side of the heat generation peak in a DSC curve in which the horizontal axis is time and the vertical axis is the heat flow when differential scanning calorimetry was performed on the adhesive composition in the heating condition of the adhesion step. In the adhesion step, the adhesive composition is heated so that T1 < T2, when T1 is the time of a peak vertex in a foaming rate-time curve in which the horizontal axis is time and the vertical axis is the foaming rate of the blowing agent when a differential scanning calorimeter equipped with a camera was used to perform differential scanning calorimetry on the blowing agent, and T2 is the time of a vertex of a heat generation peak in a DSC curve in which the horizontal axis is time and the vertical axis is the heat flow when differential scanning calorimetry was performed on a composition obtained by excluding the blowing agent from the adhesive composition.
