Battery Cell, Battery Module, Battery Pack, And Vehicle Comprising Same

Abstract: A battery cell, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: an electrode assembly in which a first electrode, a second electrode, and a separator interposed therebetween are wound around a winding axis to define a core and an outer circumferential surface, wherein the first electrode includes a first uncoated portion that is not coated with an active material layer along a winding direction; a battery housing which has an opening on one side thereof and receives the electrode assembly through the opening; a current collector which includes a support portion that is disposed on an upper portion of the electrode assembly, a tab coupling portion that extends from the support portion and is coupled to the first uncoated portion, and a housing coupling portion that extends from the support portion, is electrically coupled to an inner surface of the battery housing, and includes at least one weld portion welded to the inner surface of the battery housing; and a housing cover which covers the opening, wherein the number of weld portions is less than or equal to the number of tab coupling portions, or a fracture portion configured to have lower strength than that of a surrounding area is provided at a boundary between the support portion and the housing coupling portion.
