Method Of Preparing Separator For Lithium Secondary Battery, Separator For Lithium Secondary Battery Prepared Thereby, And Lithium Secondary Battery Having Same

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for preparing a non-woven fabric separator for a lithium secondary battery, the method comprising the steps of: (S1) separately preparing a first solution, in which ß-chitin is dissolved in a first solvent, and a second solution, in which a vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene copolymer (PVDF-TrFE) is dissolved in a second solvent; (S2) performing coaxial electrospinning using the first solution as a core solution and the second solution as a shell solution, thereby preparing a non-woven fabric formed of a core-shell structured fiber consisting of a core portion of ß-chitin and a shell portion of the vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene copolymer; and (S3) thermally treating the non-woven fabric at a temperature lower than the melting point of ß-chitin and higher than the melting point of the vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene copolymer, thereby melting and recrystallizing the vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene copolymer.
