Abstract: Provided are an IC tag and a manufacturing method for the same that can prevent damage to an antenna even when repeatedly receiving external force such as bending. An IC tag according to the present invention comprises: an IC chip 2; an antenna 3 that electrically transmits or receives information being stored or to be stored in the IC chip 2; a sheet-like base material 1 that supports the IC chip 2 and the antenna 3; and a resin protection layer 4 that is a dielectric body for covering the IC chip 2 and the antenna 3 between said protection layer and the base material 1. When the tensile modulus of elasticity [GPa] of the base material 1 is set on the X axis and the tensile modulus of elasticity [GPa] of the protection layer 4 is set on the Y axis, the IC tag has a structure in which the tensile modulus of elasticity of the base material 1 and the tensile modulus of elasticity of the protection layer 4 are each defined within a region enclosed by five lines indicated by formulae (1), (2), (3), (4), and (5).
