Abstract: The present invention relates to a branched polylactic acid polymer having improved rheological properties through branching and a method for preparing same, and provides a branched polylactic acid polymer and a method for preparing same, the branched polylactic acid polymer comprising a polylactic acid polymer-derived unit, wherein the average number of long-chain branches per molecule is 3-10, and the melt flow rate of the polymer, as measured at 190 °C and a load of 2.16 kg in accordance with ASTM D1238 conditions, is 1-20 g/10 min.
