Immersion Nozzle

Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to achieve an immersion nozzle that is applied to an immersion nozzle exchange device, and that satisfies both suppression of crack occurrence in the neck part and suppression of subduction occurrence of the immersion nozzle. An immersion nozzle 10 according to the present invention has provided thereto a bridging member 15 disposed so as to bridge between the inner circumferential surface of a metal case 13A that surrounds a flange part 12 and the outer circumferential surface of a nozzle body part 11. One end of the bridging member 15 is fixed to the metal case 13A and the other end thereof is engaged with a recessed part 11c formed in the outer circumferential surface of the nozzle body part 11. Furthermore, in an area above the force point part where an upward support force is exerted by a supporting tool of the immersion nozzle exchange device, the outer circumferential surface of the nozzle body part 11, except for the recessed part 11c, is shaped so as to extend vertically without resulting in any dimensional change with respect to the center axis of an inner hole 11a.
