Abstract: A method of manufacturing a steel sheet comprising: a step of providing a coated steel sheet in which an intermetallic compound layer (16, 116) and an aluminum coating layer (14, 114) are provided on a surface of a base steel sheet (12, 112, 212, 512) in order from the base steel sheet (12, 112, 212, 512) side; and a removal step (S14) of partially removing the aluminum coating layer (14, 114) and the intermetallic compound layer to form a first exposed portion (22, 122) in which the base steel sheet (12, 112, 212, 512) is exposed, a first coated portion (26, 126) in which the intermetallic compound layer (16, 116) and the aluminum coating layer (14, 114) remain on the surface of the base steel sheet (12, 112, 212, 512) in order from the base steel sheet (12, 112, 212, 512) side, and a second coated portion (24, 124) in which the intermetallic compound layer (16, 116) and the aluminum coating layer (14, 114) remain on the surface of the base steel sheet (12, 112, 212, 512), wherein in the removal step (S14), in a first direction (F1) which is perpendicular to a thickness direction of the coated steel sheet and is directed from a center portion of the coated steel sheet to one end edge of the coated steel sheet in plan view, the first coated portion (26, 126), the first exposed portion (22, 122), the second coated portion (24, 124), and the end edge (100A) of the coated steel sheet are disposed in this order on one surface of the base steel sheet (12, 112, 212, 512), and in the first direction (F1), the first coated portion (26, 126), the first exposed portion (22, 122), and the end edge (100A) of the coated steel sheet are disposed in this order on the other surface of the base steel sheet (12, 112, 212, 512).
