Abstract: A SELF-LOCKING A V-GROOVE PILLAR FOR ELECTRIC SWITCH The present invention is related to an electric switch (100). The electric switch (100) comprises a housing (112) and a terminal pillar (108). The 5 housing (112) comprises a protrusion (113) at the bottom side. The protrusion (113) comprises a rectangular cavity (115). The rectangular cavity (115) comprises triangular grooves (302) on inner surface. The electric switch (100) further comprises a terminal pillar (108). The top side (202) comprises a groove (218). The groove is V shaped. The groove (218) is 10 configured to provide pivot point to a connecting pin (106). The right side (212) and left side (210) comprises a projection (214). The projection (214) is disposed at the top end. During assembly, the terminal pillar (108) is inserted in the rectangular cavity (115) and snap fitted with the housing (112) with the help of triangular grooves (302) and projection (214).

1. An electric switch (100), wherein the electric switch (100) comprises:
a housing (112), wherein the housing (112) is a hollow cuboidal
5 structure, wherein the housing (112) comprises a protrusion
(113) at the bottom side, wherein the protrusion (113) comprises:
a rectangular cavity (115), wherein the rectangular cavity
(115) comprises triangular grooves (302) on inner surface;
a terminal pillar (108), wherein the terminal pillar (108) is a
10 cuboidal structure, wherein the terminal pillar (108) comprises:
a top side (202), wherein the top side (202) comprises:
a groove (218), wherein the groove is V shaped,
wherein the groove (218) is configured to provide
pivot point to a connecting pin (106);
15 a right side (212) and left side (210), wherein the right side
(212) and left side (210) comprises:
a projection (214), wherein the projection (214) is a
triangular structure with predefined length,
wherein the projection (214) is disposed at the top

wherein during assembly, the terminal pillar (108) is inserted in
the rectangular cavity (115) and snap fitted with the housing
(112) with the help of triangular grooves (302) and projection
(214).

pillar (108) further comprises a front side (206) and back side (208),

wherein the front side (206) and back side (208) comprises a hole (209),
wherein the hole (209) is configured to insert connecting wire.
3. The electric switch (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the terminal
5 pillar (108) further a bottom side (204), wherein the bottom side (204)
comprises a threaded hole, wherein the threaded hole is configured to
provide space for a screw, wherein the screw is configured to lock the
connecting wire with the terminal pillar (108).
