Abstract: A FAN REGULATOR In an embodiment of a present invention, a fan regulator (100) is disclosed. The fan regulator (100) comprises housing. The housing comprises a 5 regulating unit (108), a controller (106), a sensor (112) and an illumination element (110). The regulating unit (108) comprises a dial (202). The regulating unit (108) is configured to regulate speed of a fan using the dial (202). The controller (106) is connected to the regulating unit (108). The sensor (112) is connected to the controller (106). The sensor (112) is 10 configured to detect lighting condition in room where the fan is installed. The illumination element (110) is connected to the controller (106). The illumination element (110) is disposed in the dial (202). During operation, the controller (106) is configured to change intensity of illumination elements based on the lighting condition in the room and speed of the fan.
We claim:
1. A fan regulator (100) comprising:
a housing, wherein the housing is a hollow cuboidal structure,
wherein the housing comprises:
5 a regulating unit (108), wherein the regulating unit (108)
comprises a dial (202), wherein the regulating unit (108) is configured
to regulate a speed of a fan using the dial (202);
a controller (106) connected to the regulating unit (108);
a sensor (112) connected to the controller (106), wherein the
10 sensor (112) is configured to detect a lighting condition in a room
where fan is installed;
an illumination element (110) connected to the controller (106),
wherein the illumination element (110) is disposed in the dial (202);
wherein during operation, the controller (106) is configured to change
15 an intensity of the illumination element (110) based on the lighting
condition in the room and speed of the fan.
2. The fan regulator (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the
illumination element (110) comprises one or more Light Emitting Diodes
(LEDs) to illuminate the regulating unit (108).
20 3. The fan regulator (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the dial (202)
is made up of a transparent material.

4. The fan regulator (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the
illumination element (110) is automatically activated when the fan is turned
on.
5. The fan regulator (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the
5 illumination element (110) is equipped with a color changing feature,
allowing a user to select different colors of light.
6. The fan regulator (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the sensor
(112) is a dark sensor.
7. The fan regulator (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the housing is
10 made up of a heat-resistant material to prevent overheating during
operation.
