Abstract: A FAN REGULATOR In an embodiment of a present invention, a fan regulator is disclosed. The fan regulator (100) comprises a housing (102), a cover (104) and a PCB block 5 (202). The housing (102) is a hollow cuboidal structure with one open side. The housing (102) comprises a pair of protrusions (103). The cover (104) comprises a base (105), a pair of rectangular plates (208-1,208-2) and a pair of hooks (206-1,206-2). The pair of rectangular plates (208-1,208-2) comprise a rectangular opening (107). The PCB block (202) comprises a PCB plate 10 (203) and a rotary switch (210). The rotary switch (210) comprises a pair of grooves (211-1,211-2) on an outer surface. During assembly, the cover (104) is snap fitted with the housing (102) using the pair of protrusions (103) and the rectangular openings (107) on the pair of rectangular plates (208-1,208- 2).
We claim:
1. A fan regulator (100), wherein the fan regulator (100) comprises:
a housing (102), wherein the housing (102) is a hollow cuboidal
structure with one open side, wherein the hosing (102) comprises:
5 a pair of protrusions (103), wherein the pair of protrusion
(103) are disposed at inner side of the housing (102) on
opposite sides;
a cover (104), wherein the cover (104) is a hollow rectangular
structure with one open side, wherein the cover (104) comprises:
10 a base (105);
a pair of rectangular plates (208-1, 208-2), wherein the pair
of rectangular plates (208-1,208-2) are disposed
perpendicularly on the base (105) at inner surface, wherein
the pair of rectangular plates (208-1, 208-2) comprises a
15 rectangular opening (107); and
a pair of hooks (206-1,206-2), wherein the pair of hooks
(206-1,206-2) are disposed perpendicularly on the base (105)
at inner side;
a PCB block (202), wherein the PCB block (202) is configured to
20 regulate fan speed, wherein the PCB block (202) comprises:
a PCB plate (203); and
a rotary switch (210), wherein the rotary switch (210) is
mounted on the PCB plate (203), wherein the rotary switch

(210) comprises a pair of grooves (211-1,211-2) on an outer
surface;
wherein during assembly, in the first stage the PCB block (202) is
interlocked with the cover (104) using the pair of hooks (206-1,206-
5 2) and the pair of grooves (211-1,211-2), wherein in the second stage
the cover (104) is snap fitted with the housing (102) using the pair
of protrusions (103) and the rectangular opening (107) on the pair
of rectangular plates (208-1, 208-2).
2. The fan regulator as claimed in claim 1, wherein the housing (102)
10 further comprises pair of projection (109-1, 109-2) on the outer side, wherein
the pair of projections (109-1, 109-2) are configured to snap fit the fan
regulator hosing (102) with a switch board.
