Abstract: AIR PURIFYING STREET LIGHT The present invention is related to a streetlight (100) with air purifier. The streetlight (100) comprises a purification unit (102), a suction unit (105), a 5 cleaning mechanism (107) and a control unit (108). The purification unit (102) is disposed on a light pole (101). The purification unit (102) comprises a chamber (102). The chamber (102) comprises a plate (104). The plate (104) is negatively charged. The plate (104) is configured to attract the positively charged partials. The suction unit (105) is configured to suck the air in the 10 chamber (102). The cleaning mechanism (107) is coupled with the plate (104). The cleaning mechanism (107) is configured to clean the plate (104). The control unit (108) is configured to detect the number of particles present on the plate (108).

1. A streetlight (100) with air purifier, wherein the streetlight (100)
comprises:
a purification unit (102), wherein the purification unit (102) is
5 disposed on a light pole (101), wherein the purification unit (102)
comprises:
a chamber (102), wherein the chamber (102) is a hollow
structure with plurality of openings (103), wherein the
chamber (102) comprises:
10 a plate (104), wherein the plate (104) is disposed inside
of the chamber (102), wherein the plate (104) is
negatively charged, wherein the plate (104) is
configured to attract the positively charged partials;
a suction unit (105), wherein the suction unit (105) is coupled
15 with the chamber (102), wherein the suction unit (105) is
configured to suck the air in the chamber (102), wherein the
suction unit (105) comprises:
a filtration unit (106), wherein the filtration unit (106) is
configured filter air;
20 a cleaning mechanism (107), wherein the cleaning
mechanism (107) is coupled with the plate (104), wherein the
cleaning mechanism (107) is configured to clean the plate
(104);
a control unit (108), wherein the control unit (108) is
25 configured to detect the number of particles present on the
plate (108);
wherein during operation, the suction unit (105) sucks the air
in the chamber (102) and the positively charged particle get
stuck on the plate (104) and once number of the particle on

the plate (104) exceeds the threshold value the control unit
(108) activates the cleaning mechanism (107).
2. The streetlight (100) as claimed in the claim 1, wherein the
purification unit (102) is connected with the solar power for electrical
supply
